PI Server Performance Monitor Kit Overview

Every PI Server install includes the PI Perfmon Interface. The Perfmon Interface records performance counters supplied by your PI Server and many other Windows-based applications.

OSIsoft recommends that every PI System Manager use this interface to monitor the performance of their PI Server. In this download, we provide the complete kit for monitoring 16 key PI Server 3.4 performance counters. The kit includes the point configuration spreadsheet in SMT format, and the "PI Server 3.4 Overview" display. The basic version of this interface collects data for a limited number of performance counters. For example, PI 3.4 can handle up to 512 tags.

The PI Server schematic in this ProcessBook display pertains only to PI 3.4. It exhibits the new PI Server architecture.
