The AEData Excel Add-In was developed to give users of the PI OPC Alarms and Events (PIOPCAE) Interface a starting point to write an Excel Add-In for viewing alarm and event data in a customizable format.

Archive Analyzer for Excel

The Archive Analyzer is an Excel Add-In that helps system administrators to determine the archival rate for tags and points. The archival rate of a tag is defined as the number of values written to the archive over a defined time range, while a point is any measurement or calculation stored in the data archive.

Archive Editor Utility

The Archive Editor Utility demonstrates how to use the PI SDK and PI API to delete, add, and modify values in the PI Archive. It supports all forms of integers and analog variables including digitals and strings.

DataPlus

DataPlus allows you to add annotations to archived values in PI through Excel. Use DataPlus to publish full tables or grids of data to and from PI. You can recreate and view these Datagrids in current versions of DataLink. A DataPlus Datagrid is a collection of values that can store information related to a single PI archived value as a PI annotation.

Desktop MiniView

MiniView sits in the Windows task tray and displays real-time snapshot values when the user hovers over the PI icon. When the mouse is moved away from the display, the popup disappears after three seconds.

Dynamic Web Reports with PI-ODBC

The ODBC Web Reports is an ASP application and includes a Daily Point Report that you can use to post data for any tag in your PI System. The report contains sample PI-ODBC calls and shows how to use the VBScript and ActiveX Data Object (ADO) Record Sets.

PI Server Performance Monitoring Kit

Every PI Server install includes the PI Perfmon Interface. The Perfmon Interface records performance counters supplied by your PI Server and many other Windows-based applications.

Shift Rotation Calculations

The Shift Rotation Calculation application uses several PI Performance Equation tags to view the crew on shift in any ProcessBook display or trend. The download includes an Excel spreadsheet that contains the configuration information for the Performance Equation tags.

Spreadsheet Interface Add-In

This application allows you to extract data and store it in the PI archive without macro programming. You can annotate, timestamp, and check numeric values against limits and comment this data with annotations and view it in DataLink.
